Before his death, Steve Jobs was very serious about restricting his life but before he passed away he allowed Walter Isaacson (editor of Time magazine ) to write his biography. There are also rumors that Sony Pictures has put up $3 million to purchase the rights to make Isaacson’s book into a movie. The biography was supposed to be called iSteve: the Book Of Jobs but this title seemed kind of inappropriate so Isaacson made the article just called Steve Jobs from more than 40 conversations with Jobs before he died and many questions answers by him.
I think Sony is a good company and will make a good movie on Steve Jobs’ life. I will maybe watch the movie based on whether the review is good or bad.
Consumers: Poeple that are curious about Steve Jobs and people that like the company Apple and want to know more about it’s former CEO will now have a movie about his life

Researchers from Duke University and the Ecole Polytechnic Federale de Lausanne have made and tested technology that allowed monkeys to control a virtual arm. This arm allowed them to feel and touch digital object using brain activity. Electrodes were inserted into specific regions of the brain which controlled the planning, control, and execution of movement and the place which processes data received from cells in the body about touch.
“Such an interaction between the brain and a virtual avatar was totally independent of the animal’s real body, because the animals did not move their real arms and hands, nor did they use their real skin to touch the objects and identify their texture,” said study leader Miguel Nicolelis. “It’s almost like creating a new sensory channel through which the brain can resume processing information that cannot reach it anymore through the real body and peripheral nerves.”
This is indeed very special and new because it allows monkeys to move things virtually with just brain activity. It is just the beginning of many inventions to come, this shows us how technology is developing and how much it already has developed.
Investors- I think the investors will be pleased becuase of the amazing product produced
Possible Comsumers: people with disability that cannot use their limbs will now be able to use virtual ones
What kind of newer and better technologies like this do you think will be made in the future?

What I think the future will be like in 10 years
I think in the next 10 years, technology will have expanded immmensely and changed almost entirely. What we consider good or amazing today, can become the norm of tommorow. New innovations and inventons will be made such as Jetpacks, flying cars, or teleporting. We do not know what the future has in store for but we can only hope for the best and expect teh unexpected. This video was a good way to show how technology has affected us and how it continues to affect us and what may become of the world in the future.
General thoughts and comments
I found the video very informative about facts about the world which people did not know about. There some very surprsing points in this video about technology. I overall enjoyed the video and learned some interesting facts. The main point of the video is to provide people with information about the future.

Though it is being released in September, the new iPhone 5 , has already started to benefit Apple. During this week itself, the apple stock has risen immmensely and continues to rise. Not only the iPhone 5 is being released but it is also rumored that another iPhone may debut in the fall. This other iPhone may be an immproved iPhone 4 to be used in China.
Due to the population of China, a device targeting this country will immensely help the blooming Apple market. They plan to target China Mobile which has about 600 million subscribers and China telecom which has 100 million subscribers. In a conference call with the COE of Apple, Tim Cook, admitted that they just “scratched the sruface of market in China” and plan on becoming more active there.
I think the iPhone 4s is a very smart buisness idea for Apple since the population in China can positively influence their buisness and help it grow more and also spread the popularity of their company.
Investors- Apple and people with shares
Competitors- Google Androids and Blackberry
Consumers: the people that like to be in touch with the newest and best technology and want to get their hands on the latest Apple product
1) Do you think that Apple is making a smart move by making/advancing the iPhone 4?
2) Are you or do you know anyone that is going to buy the iPhone 5?
3) Do you think the stocks will continue to rise? and are you thinking about buying some stocks?
PlayStation Vita coming to Japan Dec. 17
Source: PC Mag

This article on PC Mag talks about the new product, The Playstation Vita, being released by Sony Playstation, which will become available in Japan on October 17 but still leave American gamers without a release date. Though it may be being released earlier in Japan the retail price is significantly higher there also, the Wi-Fi version is over $75 more expensive and the 3G version is over $90 more expensive.
Also, since the Playstation Vita is coming out a lot earlier than the Wii U, its main competition from the Nintendo Company, it will have time to fit into people’s lives and hype up gamers more for the American release, an interesting business tactic indeed.
Investors: Sony (Playstation)
Consumers: people that want to play video games on this new device
Competitors: Nintendo with their Wii U being released in 2012
1)Do you thunk the PS Vita will beat the Wii U in sales? If yes, then why?
2) Do you think the sales in Japan will beat the sales in America? If yes, then why?
Hey, Its Harsh. I’m going to tell you guys about Prezi. My Info tech teacher introduced to me in grade 11. Powerpoint and Prezi have many differences and similarities. Some differences are that you can change angles, videos can be added onto your prentation, and instead of slides, paths are used in Prezi. However, they share many aspects, for example, they both are made for making prensentations, they both include transtition methods, and they are both allow you to tranfer shapes, pictures, and words onto your presentation. Presonally I found Prezi much more attractive than Powerpoint and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind going that extra mile to make something better. So here’s my First Prezi. Hope you enjoy it!
Hey guys, welcome to Harsh’s blog. More updates and posts to come, thanks for following my blog.
